We have just cut a path across two of our fields, to our closest pub,The Plume of Feathers.

The Plume of Feathers, Castlemorton was closed in October 2016 for 6 months. My nephew, James, and I offered to help keep the pub open. The family were so disappointed to see this traditional country pub closed we decided to re-open it ourselves on a trial basis. The trial period was a success and we are now pleased to announce that the pub will be open on a permanent basis!

The Plume of Feathers is an 18th century, classic country pub, on the edge of Castlemorton Common with splendid views of the Malvern Hills from its front garden. It is a good base to plan and start walks across the common and then onto the Hills. The main bar has a wealth of beams and a real fire whilst a small side room has a sofa and darts. There is a separate restaurant available for diners.

The pub is Open All Day (every day) and serving food every lunchtime and evening in the week and All Day on Saturday and Sunday. We offer traditional pub food (e.g Scampi and Chips, Steak and Guinness Suet Pudding, Pie & Chips) as well as offering authentic Thai cuisine (Thai Green Curry, Spicy Beef and Spicy Pork) which is prepared by the Thai Landlady. We also offer various vegetarian dishes (e.g. Nut Roast, Thai Vegetable Curry and Quorn Lasagne). The menu is continually evolving so please contact me for latest menu.

There is a good selection of real ales on draught. The regular ales are Wye Valley Butty Bach (4.5%) and Thwaites Original (3.6%) plus another guest ale (often locally produced). We are also pleased to announce that we will be selling Robinson’s Cider soon.

A recent Live Music night was such a success we are pleased to be able to confirm there will now be live music on the last Wednesday of every month. Please follow us on Facebook for more details -

Here is a video from our last Live Music night...A huge thank you to Tony Beech and friends for such a great night. It was a great success. It was so good to see the pub so busy. Thank you Dawn, Anna and Roger for all your help :-)
