“Peace and tranquility with a welcoming pub
nearby”
Reviewed November 6, 2011 NEW
The spacious accomodation was well designed and had everything we needed. The
owner, Shirley, met us on arrival and showed us round the accomodation, answered
our questions and told us about the local area. We enjoyed a week of peace and
tranquility walking during the day and relaxing in front of the TV in the
evening. The nearest pub, The Plume of Feathers just a 10 min walk away, was
open all day and provided a warm welcome. (Take a torch for walking home after
dark).
“Comfortable accommodation”
Reviewed October 21, 2011
We stayed at The Turbles for two weeks in October and mainly used it as just
a base for our house hunting in the Worcestershire area. We managed to relax in
the evenings after a busy day. The apartment was well equipped and had
everything we wanted so we would recommend it to friends. Shirley was on hand if
we had any queries, and was very helpful.
“A memorable holiday”

A warm reception, friendly, nothing too much trouble.
Very quiet. The
caravaners on site added to the location.
“Perfect relaxation!”

This tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean apartment is the perfect
weekend or week-long getaway. The owner greeted us on arrival and was extremely
friendly and helpful. She has thought of everything to make your stay warm and
welcoming, including little touches that we weren't expecting - some games and
books, and a whole room of puzzles as part of the apartment buildings. We stayed
in apartment 3, which also caters for dogs and has its own secure garden. The 3
apartments are located in a beautiful spot, perfectly secluded and quiet, with a
field behind with only a few caravan pitches at the far side, and behind that a
field where you can walk the dog. To the left, a lovely view of hills. And close
to a cosy country pub. Shirley the owner also sells fresh eggs from her hens
-lovely! The apartment was pristine, warm, and modern, with a good shower and
comfortable bed. The value is unbeatable (we kept extending our stay) and I
really am already looking forward to going back sometime soon! If you want a
quiet, comfy break and are looking for somewhere in easy driving distance of the
Malverns, look no further!

touristy spots - what's not to like?

We booked the holiday accommodation because our son was getting married at
Spetchley Gardens near Worcester. To our surprise, we were able to book other
members of our family and friends at the same location as the site can
accommodate caravans, with space for the odd tent. What a great place for a
family reunion as we are spread over the country. The apartments are modern
clean and well decorated with comfy beds, well equipt kitchens, matching
crockery and and a fantastic double shower. All towels and linen provided were
of good quality. The location was beautiful, just off Castlemorton common, and
the hospitality shown by the manager was second to none. I truly cannot fault
the accommodation or location. we intend to return to the area and use the
facilities again in the future.

We chose the Turbles because it was dog friendly & it was - enclosed
garden & a paddock for walkies which also led straight to Castlemorton
common - perfect- also handy for the pub !!.The apartment was spotlessly clean
& very well equipped inc bed linen ,towels at no extra cost.Lovely big
shower - not one you bang your elbows on !Outdoor furniture for an aperitif in
the sun.It is in a superb location very quiet.Shirley made us very welcome &
was very kind. Definitely be back !!
“A delightful stay in one of the most beautiful parts of the
country”
Reviewed June 29, 2011
We have just returned from a very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Turbles
Holiday apartments. We spent our week split between cycling around the local
area discovering CastleMorton Common, and exploring the Malvern Hills and taking
in the breathtaking views which are most definatley worth the walk up.
The apartment itself was just what we were looking for...cosy, clean and
comfortable. Ontop of that it was in a beautiful rural setting, situated in a
country lane. We had plenty of space to sit outside, so we could enjoy the sun,
all the while with a view of the Hills in the background.
Being new to
the area, we were thrilled Shirley was so welcoming. She went out of her way to
ensure we had a good stay, advising on places to visit both on foot and by bike.
An evening on MidSummer Hill with the view of Eastnor Castle in the background,
watching the sun set, is definitely not one to miss.
Thank you very much
Shirley, we are already looking forward to returning later in the year!

“Brilliant location, comfortable and very
accommodating”
Reviewed May 31, 2011
Very comfortable and well-equiped cottage/apartment in a rural location close
to the many commons and hills of Malvern - if you like walking it's perfect! The
manager accommodateed us at short notice, with no fuss, and made us very welcome
including our dog. Will definitely stay again - it's not overpriced like so many
places. Many, many positives, and the only minor suggestions were needing
somewhere (hooks) to hang wet coats in the hall, a cafetiere in the kitchen and
not having to lock and unlock the gate every time we went in and out! (although
I realise perhaps this was a needed(?) security measure).
Thank you so much,
Shirley!

We can higly recommend these appartments which are very well equipped, layout
is very well though out and very clean. We were both made very welcome on
arrival to this well managed quiet site with well kept grass area. Although it
suited us the site is some way from Malvern and the local shop which meant that
you had to use the car. Good local pubs in the area athough again a car journey
was required. Good bus service from Castlemorton about 20 mins walk from site
across the fields. We have already booked again for this year.
