Local Area

The Turbles is an excellent location for relaxing or walking and cycling around the Malvern Hills. Providing easy access to the three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

A green lane from The Turbles provides an attractive walk to Castlemorton Common then to the Malvern Hills.

A short cut across the common provides a nice walk to Welland PO & Village Stores (approx 1 mile).

There are lots of good pubs in the area. Not only our own family pub, The Plume of Feathers which is only a short walk across 2 fields from the site (see map). There is also The Robin Hood and The Farmers Arms.

For a special treat you could visit The Inn at Welland and try their award-winning menu, recognised with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and an AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence. There is also The Swan at Hanley Swan which is also recommended.

We are delighted to be featured in Anna Chelmicka’s walking from dog-friendly campsite books. Come and stay with us, put on your walking boots, follow the instructions and take your dog out right from the site, returning for a rewarding R&R or a pint at our pub.
